Lunch with Toran

[Sapphire] *starts to busy herself with work and decides to just sit and wait for customers to come in*

[Toran] *walks in the boutique seeing Sapphire busy with a customer, wondering where Jocelyn was. he walks over to the counter and waits for Sapphire to finish with her customers*

[Sapphire] *finishes ringing up the customer and looks over at Toran* Hey what are you doing here?

[Toran] I have a while before my next client, I thought I would stop in and see you and Jocelyn for a while. Where is she anyway?

[Sapphire] I sent her home she broke up with the dick. Caught him cheating. So you're stuck with just me unless you wanna go home and talk to her.

[Toran] *raises his brow* Is she okay? I'll kill the dick. *grumbles*

[Sapphire] Yeah a little shaken but she seemed fine just not in any shape to work. *sits down on the couch behind the counter* You can have a seat if you're staying.

[Toran] *walks over and sits down* I would go talk to her but I can't cancel on this guy I have next unless it's an emergency. At least I know she was going home. I hope he doesn't show up there though.

[Sapphire] Jagger is home if he shows up Jagger will take care of him for you. I promise. I take it your client is a dick?

[Toran] Good, at least she's not alone. *nods* Yeah, he's a dick. But he pays really good.

[Sapphire] *giggles* I'm glad I don't have a job like yours. A customer acts like a bitch I'm allowed to kick them out.

[Toran] *chuckles* Oh, I could get rid of the client but the guy pays me $200 each session. I'll put up with the guy for that.

[Sapphire] Oh well I probably would too. *pulls her legs up under her on the couch*

[Toran] *smiles* I couldn't do a job like this. It seems boring.

[Sapphire] Well it's this or waiting tables. *shrugs* I'd rather do this. Kurt pays me really well. I get all my clothes at half off and when I move it to clearance I get anything off that rack for free. Really I can deal with a little boredom in exchange for that.

[Toran] *laughs* No wonder my sister likes working here.

[Sapphire] Well and Kurt is an absolute doll to work for.

[Toran] *nods* I'm sure. Wouldn't want to find out though. I had enough of him hitting on me at the party. *laughs* He seems like a good guy though.

[Sapphire] He's harmless he's been checking out Jagger for years. *giggles* Guess Lennon isn't his type cause he's never even looked at him twice.

[Toran] *laughs* Must not be.

[Sapphire] *laughs* I think he's cheating on me. *starts picking at the hem of her skirt*

[Toran] What? Want me to kick his ass? *turns to look at her, feeling a rush of anger that confuses him a bit*

[Sapphire] No I'm not sure that would do any good. Maybe we've run our course I mean we've been together for 5 years and if I suggest that we move in together he's got a million reasons why it won't work. *shrugs* I don't know what to do. *leans her head against the couch and give his a half smile*

[Toran] I'm sorry, Sapphire. I don't see why it wouldn't work with you two moving in together, unless there is something more going on that you don't know about. *shakes his head*

[Sapphire] *sighs* Yeah me either. Obviously he just doens't want to take our relationship to the next level. I mean fuck it's been 5 years I mean do you think I'm rushing him? We're only 22.

[Toran] No, I don't. 5 years no matter how old you are...he shouldn't completely opposed to the idea. I would think he would at least suggest somewhere by yourselves, not with your brother and 2 roommates.

[Sapphire] I suggested that as well and he baulked at that too. I mean he says he loves me so why wouldn't he want to live with me?

[Toran] It doesn't make sense. *shakes his head*

[Sapphire] No it doesn't make any sense at all. *looks at the clock* Ugh it's lunch time you got time to grab lunch with me?

[Toran] *looks at his phone to see what time his next client was scheduled for* Yeah, I should have time for lunch. *smiles and stands, holding his hand out to help her stand*

[Sapphire] *takes his hand and stands grabbing her purse. they leave the shop and she turns the sign and locks up* Hows the dinner right down the street?

[Toran] Works for me. Mind if we drive? Otherwise, I might not have time to have lunch with you. *she agrees and they get in his car, he drives them down the street to the diner, they get out and walk inside*

[Sapphire] *finds a booth in the back with him and sits across from him*

[Toran] *picks up the menu and looks over it* I haven't ate here much, what's good?

[Sapphire] They have the best chili cheese fries and the best burgers.

[Toran] I'll try the chili cheese fries then.

[Sapphire] You'll love them don't get mad as my trainer at all the crap I'm about to eat *giggles*

[Toran] *chuckles* I don't complain too much about your diet unless you request a specific diet plan from me.

[Sapphire] Well that won't be happening cause I like my greasy food *giggles*

[Toran] *laughs* Yeah, me too. I do eat healthy food mostly, but I love my greasy foods and junk foods. *smiles at her*

[Sapphire] Good we'll get along just great.

[Toran] *smiles and orders his food when the waitress comes, Sapphire gives her order to the waitress and she heads to the kitchen to put their order in. Toran takes a drink of his tea when the waitress brings it back* I'm glad I stopped by the boutique now. I would have spent my lunch alone. Your company is much more enjoyable.

[Sapphire] Yeah I'm glad you did too. I usually have lunch with Lennon on Thursday but after the fight we had last night I doubt he'll want to see me today at all. *sips her soda*

[Toran] I'm sorry, he seemed like at least a halfway decent guy but by the sounds of it he's changed or something. *takes a drink of his tea*

[Sapphire] He is a good guy and he treats me well. Jagger just doesn't like me cause he isn't shy about touching me. Plus before him I never had a boyfriend.

[Toran] I can understand his point. I've never really liked any of Jocelyn's boyfriends and she's only had 3.

[Sapphire] Yes but after 5 years he should have gotten used to him by now.

[Toran] Well, yes, maybe. But then maybe there is just something about him that he doesn't like. *shrugs*

[Sapphire] Is there something about him that you don't like?

[Toran] *thinks and shrugs* I haven't really talked to him enough.

[Sapphire] *sighs* Oh well. I wish others could see what I see in him.

[Toran] Well, I would never see what you do in him. *smiles* But maybe once I got to know him I could tell you what Jagger doesn't like about him. *shrugs* I don't know.

[Sapphire] At the rate we're going it won't matter. *starts to eat her fries when the waitress brings them their food*

[Toran] *shakes his head, hating how sad she seems* What do you say that if he doesn't come over tonight, we do something fun?

[Sapphire] Sure what do you have in mind?

[Toran] Hmm...go to a club? Or anything else you want.

[Sapphire] The club sounds good I haven't been in awhile. *phone goes off in her purse and she reads the text from Lennon, frowning* He's not coming tonight he's going to see his mother for a few days. *pushes her plate away*

[Toran] *nods* Sorry, Sapphire. I can tell you are upset. I think you need some cheering up, the club would be perfect for that. *finishes his food and motions for the check*

[Sapphire] *shrugs* Yeah I guess. *has the waitress box up her food and takes it with them when they go* You should probably get to your client I can walk back to the shop.

[Toran] You sure? *she nods* Alright, I'll see you at home. We'll go have some fun tonight. *winks at her and walks out of the diner with her*

[Sapphire] *gives him a half smile and starts down towards the shop. unsure of if she even wants to go to the club with him or not. getting to the shop opening up*

[Toran] *gets in his car and heads off to take care of his client, hoping he can cheer Sapphire up tonight*
