Goodbye....or is it?

[Lennon] *knocks on her door and opens it up, seeing her sitting on the bed* I'm sorry Rosie.

[Sapphire] *looks up at him with tears in her eyes* Then why are you leaving?

[Lennon] I told you why baby Momma needs me. *wipes the tears from her eyes and sits on the bed with her* Do you wanna do the long distance thing? I'll do it if you want. I don't want this to be the end of us either. *leans in and kisses her softly* I love you Rosie.

[Sapphire] *wraps her arms around him* I love you too Len. This is ripping my heart out. *tears streaming down her cheeks*

[Lennon] I know, it doesn't feel good on my end either. *kisses her head*

[Sapphire] Then don't leave. I know it's selfish to ask but please don't leave me stay here with me. *looks at him pleadingly*

[Lennon] I'm sorry baby I can't I've gotta go. Mom can't do it on her own I need to help her. She's gotten real sick. *the pain of leaving her evident in her eyes* Come with me. We'll get married and start our life together there. *pulls a ring out of his pocket* Come with me, marry me?

[Sapphire] *looks at the ring, then him, then back to the ring* Why couldn't you have asked me that a year ago. Had you asked me before had you talk to me about this at all. I could honestly say yes. I can't not now. I love you and the thought of marrying you is wonderful and more than anything I would love to be your wife. *stops talking when he kisses her hard, melting her completely*

[Lennon] Don't answer me now. *slips the ring on her finger* Just think about it for a couple weeks. When I come back to get the rest of my stuff you can tell me your answer then. Until then. We have tonight. Lets make it count. *kisses her again*

[Sapphire] Okay I'll think about it. *kisses him again, falling back on the bed with him, making love throughout the rest of the night and into the wee hours of the morning before falling asleep in each others arms. Waking up before anyone else in the house and walking down with him*

[Lennon] I'll be back in 2 weeks to get my bike. You can tell me what you've decided then okay baby?

[Sapphire] Yes baby I'll think about it I promise. *kisses him* I love you Len.

[Lennon] I love you too Rosie. *kissing her long and deep before letting her go and heading back into town*
