[Sapphire] *gets to the boutique that she works at and starts getting everything ready to open as she nibbles on her doughnut. Counting out the money in the till*
[Jocelyn] *walks in the boutique and smiles at the girl behind the counter.* Hello, you must be Sapphire. Kurt was telling me about you yesterday when I was applying for a job here. I'm Jocelyn, by the way.
[Sapphire] *offers her hand to her* Hi yeah he was telling me about you. It's nice to meet you Jocelyn. *shakes her hand smiling* I was just getting ready to open if you wanna get the sign turned for me.
[Jocelyn] Of course. *puts her purse behind the counter on the couch then walks back over and turns the sign to open* So how long have you been working here?
[Sapphire] Since Kurt opened a couple years ago.
[Jocelyn] Oh, neat. I've been in here shopping a few times and recently decided to quit my job as a waitress. I hated it. *walks back behind the counter*
[Sapphire] *giggling* Yes I did that before this. I've known Kurt most of my life so when he bought this place he gave me a job.
[Jocelyn] That was nice of him. But then he does seem like a good guy.
[Sapphire] *smiling* He is a good guy I love him. He's one of my bestfriends.
[Jocelyn] That's the same thing he said about you. So what do you do when there is no customers?
[Sapphire] Finish my breakfast then go through the merchandise and restock. *shrugs* Just whatever keeps me busy.
[Jocelyn] Sounds kinda boring. *smiles* I'm sure I will get used to it. I'm just used to always doing something.
[Sapphire] Well it is boring but I'd rather do this then wait tables. *giggling and finishes her breakfast* Okay so today we get our shipment so we'll have that to keep us busy this afternoon.
[Jocelyn] Well, at least we'll have something to keep us busy for a while. *takes out her breakfast burrito out of the bag and starts eating while sipping her coffee*
[Sapphire] Right *gets up and starts going through the racks and making a list of things to get moved to the clearance racks*
[Jocelyn] *finishes her breakfast and puts her coffee to the side. she goes out and starts helping Sapphire*
[Sapphire] Have you always lived here? I don't think I've seen you around.
[Jocelyn] No, my brother moved here to go to school. We are really close and I hated being away from him so I moved here about a year ago. I just haven't been around much. I've been in here a few times but Kurt was the only one working. Must have been on your days off.
[Sapphire] Older or younger brother. I got an annoying older brother. *gets the stuff for the clearance rack and starts hanging them pulling off her sizes and smiling* Kurt lets us have the clearance stuff if you wanna grab a couple things.
[Jocelyn] Older. He's 3 years older than me and bugs the shit outta me, but I hated being so far away from him. *shrugs* That's cool that Kurt does that. *starts looking at the clearance stuff and pulls off a few things she likes in her size*
[Sapphire] Well he gives us a 50 percent discount and has me put this stuff up for half off so he said why charge us for it. *shrugging* I'm not arguing that's for sure. *giggles* My brother is a pain in the ass too. He's 3 years older me then too.
[Jocelyn] I like the way Kurt thinks. *giggles* I love shopping so this is perfect.
[Sapphire] *giggles* Me too and this lets me shop.
[Jocelyn] *laughs* What a perfect way to work. I can't think of a better way I'd rather spend my day.
[Sapphire] *laughing* Right best job ever.
[Jocelyn] I'd say. *helps her finish moving things to the clearance rack and both of them getting what they want from it before going to the back and starting to pull out the days shipment and pricing it*
[Sapphire] *gets the order priced and starts hanging it up* Lets pick some styles for the window and we'll go get some lunch.
[Jocelyn] Sounds good to me. You choose one and I'll choose one, it'll go faster that way. *walks through the store finding the things she wants for the outfit for the mannequin. once she gets everything she goes up front*
[Sapphire] *gets her outfit together and sets it next to her mannequin* Okay chickie lets go get some lunch when we get back we'll do the windows. *grabs her purse and waits for Jocelyn*
[Jocelyn] *grabs her purse and phone checking her texts on the way out the door with Sapphire, shaking her head* My brother is annoying, I swear. *they lock up and head down the street to grab lunch*
[Sapphire] *smiles* I'm glad to have someone to talk to now. It gets so boring in there.
[Jocelyn] I'm sure it does. I'm glad to have someone to talk to other than my annoyance of a brother. I haven't really made time to make any friends around here.
[Sapphire] Well you should come to the party I'm throwing tonight at mine and Jagger's place.
[Jocelyn] Who's Jagger? *smiles*
[Sapphire] My pain in the ass brother. *giggles*
[Jocelyn] *laughs* I love his name. *smiles* Care if I bring my pain in the ass brother? Maybe they can be a pain in each others asses instead of ours.
[Sapphire] Of course the more the merrier. *giggling as she opens the door for the diner*
[Jocelyn] *giggles as the door closes behind them and they go find a booth near the window* I'll text him and tell him. *takes her phone out and sends Toran a text as they sit down*
[Sapphire] *picks up the menu looking for what she wants to eat* Where are you from Jocelyn?
[Jocelyn] We've moved around alot but I'm originally from Nevada. I moved here from New York.
[Sapphire] Cool I've never been to either place. This place has to be boring compare to those places.
[Jocelyn] Not really, at least it's close to the beach. I hate the big city and Nevada was awful. I was miserable there.
[Sapphire] Well yeah we do have the beach. *giggles* Which is why I share a place with Jagger it's right on the beach.
[Jocelyn] Really? That's cool. I'm staying with my brother for now, we're looking for somewhere to move to since his lease is up. His landlord isn't renting out the house anymore.
[Sapphire] No way. *giggles* Our room mates decided to get married to each other and are moving out. It's why we're throwing the party tonight their getting married next week and are moving out tomorrow. *bites her lip* You guys could move in with us we've got 2 bedrooms that will be empty in a few days.
[Jocelyn] Seriously? That would be great, we could carpool to work too. *giggles* If my brother will go for it, but it would perfect since we have to be out of the house by the end of next week. We just haven't been able to find anywhere that's available.
[Sapphire] Hold on. *texts Jagger and waits for him to respond* Okay so Jagger said that you guys can come after we get off work and look at the place before the party and we can talk rent and utilities. *giggling*
[Jocelyn] Alright, let me text Toran and let him know to be ready. *giggles* This is so great. *texts Toran again and gets his response* He said he'll meet me outside the boutique so we can follow you there. *grins*
[Sapphire] Great! This is great we weren't sure what we'd do either. We could do it on our own for a couple months but it would drain our accounts.
[Jocelyn] Exactly our problem. We've found a few places available but they're too expensive for us to rent on our own. *smiles and gives the waitress their orders when she comes over*
[Sapphire] Right and our place is expensive but managable with room mates when we have 2 we each pay 250 plus utilities which isn't bad I'm still able to shop and everything so yeah it's nice.
[Jocelyn] *laughs* Well we pay more than that where we were living. We were both paying 400 plus splitting the utilities so we would actually be saving at least 150 each.
[Sapphire] Right we pay about that with the cable and the utilities. Cause we got the sport package and movie packages and the high speed net so Jagger can play his online video games. *rolls her eyes*
[Jocelyn] *giggles* Toran does that too. They'll get along great by the sound of it.
[Sapphire] Oh god two of them I'm not sure I can deal with that.
[Jocelyn] Well at least if they play the games with each other they'll stay out of our hair. *smiles*
[Sapphire] Good point *thanks the waitress when she brings their food* Oh I love their chilli cheese fries
[Jocelyn] They're the best. *smiles and starts eating them* Isn't it ironic how we seem to like the same things but never met before?
[Sapphire] *giggling* I know right? *munching her fries* So do you have a boyfriend?
[Jocelyn] Yeah, we've been going out a couple months. Toran hates him. *giggles and takes a bite of her fries*
[Sapphire] *laughes* Oh god that's funny Jagger hates my boyfriend too.
[Jocelyn] *laughs* That is funny. Toran absolutely hates when he comes to the house. It's the funniest thing watching the faces he makes behind his back.
[Sapphire] What's your boyfriends name?
[Jocelyn] Felix. *smiles* What about yours?
[Sapphire] Lennon *smiling* He's so hot. *giggling*
[Jocelyn] Mmm, can't wait to meet him and have you meet Felix. He's so yummy. *grins*
[Sapphire] Well Lennon will be at the party tonight.
[Jocelyn] I'll call Felix after Toran and I come over and we all talk, see if he wants to come tonight too.
[Sapphire] great *looks at her watch and waves over the waitress* We should take this back to work and open back up *they get to go containers and pay for their food and like*
[Jocelyn] *they walk back to the boutique, chatting the whole way. once back there they open and then sit on the couch to finish their lunch*
[Sapphire] *the rest of the day flies by and before they know it, it's time to close up for the night. they get the place locked up and she smiles* Is your brother here yet?
[Jocelyn] *nods* Yeah, he's over there in the Mustang. *waves to her brother and he walks over*
[Toran] Hey, J. Is this Sapphire? *smiles at her and notes how sexy she is as he offers her his hand* I'm Toran.
[Sapphire] Nice to meet you Toran *smiles and shakes his hand* Nice ride. *looks up as Lennon pulls up on bike, kisses him* Hey baby go slow kay Jocelyn and Toran are gonna be following us. *Lennon nods* Okay so follow us and we'll lead you over. *climbs on the back and waits for them to get in their car and wraps her arms around him and tells him to go and they speed off towards her house*
